Want to know what a convention is like? Well, all conventions have several debates on various current events and controversial issues. Along with Debates are also thought talks and workshops. Thought talks allow those attending to quickly share their opionions on a topic, without the formallity of a debate. Workshops could literally be anything, some of them include: Debate, Moderating, Political Fair. Most last for about 1 hour. Fall State, Winter Congress, and Spring State, are over night conventions. At every overnight convention, there is a keynote speaker. This speaker will speak on or about the theme of that year, or the theme of that convention. After a day of debates, there is a Dances, a swimming pool, or a board game room for you and your new JSA friends to hang out for the remainder of the night.
