The JSA dances are probably better than your average school dance. At the very beginning the dance floor is empty; giving anyone a clear space to dance. However, after an hour into the dance, it is impossible to go anywhere without bumping into someone. Because of the overwhelming lack of space, humidity is great. It is almost like a sauna, but without the steam, relaxation benefit, or the semi-privacy in a sauna. Chaperones are present to enforce “proper conduct”, but the majority of the time, you are free to do as you please.
